Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Create a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care
- Engage in meaningful activities and social interactions with individuals to promote their well-being
- Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor
- Drive individuals to appointments, outings, or other scheduled activities as needed
Skills:
- Experience in childcare, working with people with developmental disabilities, senior care, or patient care is preferred
- Strong direct support skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with individuals and their families
- Basic first aid knowledge to handle emergencies or medical situations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in meal preparation and dietary restrictions
