Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating all phases of construction from design schematics to final delivery.
- Manage project budgets by tracking costs, preparing estimates, and controlling expenditures with HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools.
- Oversee the creation and review of construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progress updates.
- Ensure adherence to all construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies throughout project lifecycle.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, scheduling, reporting, and communication purposes.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, safety compliance, and resolve any issues promptly.
- Manage contracts and procurement processes to secure necessary resources while maintaining cost control measures.
- Lead project meetings to review milestones, address challenges proactively, and keep all stakeholders aligned on project goals.
Skills
- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of construction regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skilled in construction estimating techniques and cost management strategies to optimize project budgets.
- Excellent blueprint reading abilities along with a solid understanding of schematics and construction plans.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management role; capable of motivating diverse groups toward common objectives.
- Expertise in construction scheduling coordination to ensure timely delivery of project phases.
- Knowledge of contracts administration including negotiation, compliance monitoring, and change order management.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with construction site experience is essential for understanding on-the-ground realities impacting project execution.
