POSITION DESCRIPTION
· Handle daily quote requests from distributors, specifiers, architects, engineers, etc.
· Build accurate bill of materials by reviewing lighting plans, schedules, and specification sheets.
· Coordinate with manufacturers to provide accurate pricing.
· Coordinate with distributors, contractors, engineers, etc. to ensure accurate specification.
· Produce CROSSOVER quotes with equal product at better prices
· Maintain database of quotes and update status accordingly.
· Gather information regarding product lead times and suggest suitable alternates when necessary.
· Provide customer service after order processing such as estimated shipping dates, tracking, warranty paperwork, shipment claims, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS
· Produce counts/take off to obtain the quantities of each lighting type
· Ability to adjust lighting locations and schedule in autocad
· Ability to quote and layout lighting controls
· Experience quoting lighting and/or commodities, raw materials, construction materials, etc.
· Experience creating submittal packages.
· Prefer experience with Oasis quoting software.
· Basic knowledge of LED lighting and controls.
· Ability to identify equivalent products between multiple manufacturers.
· Basic understanding lighting schedules, blueprints/mechanical/electrical drawings.
· Grasp on the construction bidding process and the ability to maximize profit.
· Self-starter and multi-tasker who can work alone as well as within a team.
· Background in a customer service-oriented environment.
· Strong communications and collaboration skills.
· Strong computer skills; MS Office, Email, Zoom, TeamViewer, etc.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
· Strong knowledge of photometrics and ability to create them in Agi32, Dialux, etc.
· Excellent knowledge of lighting control and applications.
· Experience preparing quotations in OASIS
· Understanding of IESNA design guidelines.
