We are seeking a reliable and professional Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, labeling, and processing according to proper protocols
- Prepare and assist providers with patient exams and procedures
- Record vital signs, patient histories, and medication information in the EMR system
- Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed
- Perform CLIA-waived lab tests and maintain accurate documentation
- Maintain exam rooms, stock medical supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
- Follow HIPAA and OSHA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and safety
Qualifications
- Required:
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) or completion of an accredited MA program
- Phlebotomy experience or certification
- Preferred:
- 1+ years of clinical or family practice experience
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Specifically eClincalworks
- Current BLS certification

Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, DOE
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
- Benefits: Paid time off and holidays (no insurance benefits at this time)
