About the Role
We're a family looking for a reliable, detail-oriented housekeeper to maintain our home in Macomb Township. This is an ongoing position in a private residence — not a commercial cleaning gig. We're looking for someone we can build a long-term working relationship with.
Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning of all living areas, bedrooms, and hallways
- Bathrooms: scrub showers/tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors
- Kitchen: counters, sinks, stovetop, inside/outside of appliances (oven, microwave, fridge as scheduled), cabinet fronts
- Floors: vacuum carpets and rugs, sweep and mop hard floors
- Dusting (baseboards, shelves, blinds, light fixtures, ceiling fans)
- Changing bed sheets, washing/folding linens and towels
- Organizing cabinets/closets and tidying of common areas
- Taking out trash and replacing liners
Requirements
- Prior cleaning experience (residential preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Trustworthy — references required, background check required
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for the shift
- English communication (spoken or written via text)
Nice to Have
- Your own preferred cleaning supplies (we can also provide everything)
- Comfort with pets( one small dog)
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
