Responsibilities
- Prepare and blend smoothies, juices, and other beverage offerings with precision and flair.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and recommend menu items to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently while handling cash and card payments responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, ensuring a hygienic environment at all times.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills, ensuring orders are completed promptly during busy periods.
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and equipment as needed to keep the smoothie bar fully operational.
- Uphold food handling protocols and safety regulations to deliver high-quality products safely to customers.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience is preferred, especially in café or retail environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Experience in the food industry or café setting is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential!
Pay: $16.90 - $19.00 per hour
