We are currently seeking a Member Support Center Associate to join our dedicated team. This position is full-time and on-site at our White River location. Position Overview:
The Member Support Center Associate plays a crucial role in providing outstanding support and service to 802 Credit Union members. You will be the first point of contact for our members, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding them through a variety of banking products and services. Whether via phone, email, or chat, your primary goal is to ensure members have a positive experience with the credit union.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Service Excellence: Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and online chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Account Assistance: Assist members with a wide range of banking needs, including account inquiries, loan information, transaction assistance, and more. Provide knowledgeable support for online banking services, mobile apps, and digital tools. Resolve member issues and concerns efficiently, escalating to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Cross-Sell Services: Educate members on additional services and products that could benefit them, such as savings accounts, loans, or online banking tools.
- Maintain Accuracy: Handle transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of member interactions and service requests in the credit union’s system.
- Security and Compliance: Maintain confidentiality and ensure all banking activities are compliant with credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team and management to ensure smooth operations and meet branch goals. Support team initiatives and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Positive Attitude & Strong Communication Skills: You enjoy interacting with people and have a natural ability to build rapport with members. You have the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
- Detail-Oriented: You’re meticulous when it comes to numbers and processes, ensuring everything is accurate and in line with credit union standards.
- Team Player: While you’ll be working closely with members, we also value collaboration within the team and encourage a positive workplace culture.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think quickly and resolve issues as they arise in a calm and professional manner.
- Experience (Preferred, Not Required): Previous customer service or banking experience is a plus, but we are happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle member concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Familiarity with online banking tools and mobile apps is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong typing and written communication skills
- Ability to use computer systems and perform basic office tasks.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
