Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in children.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and needs.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient progress.
- Provide early intervention services to children with speech and language delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapeutic strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices and medical terminology.
Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid CA state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to speech therapy.
- Demonstrated ability in patient assessment and developing tailored intervention strategies.
