Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
- Take and confirm reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation management systems
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest dining experiences
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling with accuracy
- Assist with food and beverage service, including bussing tables, refilling drinks, and supporting food presentation
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained through proper food handling and cleanliness practices
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic food handling techniques
- Experience with reservation platforms like OpenTable is preferred
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
