Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Full-Time Child Care Provider Lead Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a safe and engaging learning environment, and support the developmental needs of young children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire children to explore, learn, and thrive while maintaining strong communication with families and colleagues.
Duties
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to the needs of children.
- Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote social-emotional growth
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's development, attendance, and classroom activities
- Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR protocols
- Lead classroom management efforts to create an inclusive, nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and learning
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and teaching strategies for young children
- Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures required
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and early childhood education best practices
