Overview
North Texas Contracting is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to support construction operations throughout North Texas. Drivers will transport equipment, materials, and supplies while representing our company with professionalism and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of trucks, including flatbed and rock trailers, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo details as required by DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to promote safety on the road.
Requirements
- Operate flatbeds, rock trailers, and other Class A vehicles safely and efficiently
- Transport equipment and materials to job sites throughout North Texas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain DOT-compliant logs and documentation
- Secure loads and ensure safe delivery of cargo
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and field crews
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
