Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our Victoria Dentistry practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including examinations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and preventive care while ensuring compliance with all health regulations and maintaining patient comfort.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform a range of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide optimal patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Skills
- Proficient in using dental software such as Open Dental
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and managing the unique needs of younger patients.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation and patient assessment.
