What You'll Do
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and crisis assessments with the goal of diverting individuals from the ER
- Work across walk-in, ED, and mobile community settings with all ages — from young children to elderly
- Collaborate with first responders, ED staff, and on-call psychiatrists to stabilize crises and connect clients to care
- Deliver safety planning, diagnostic screening, and wraparound interventions tailored to client needs
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as part of a team-based model — no individual caseloads
- Deploy into the community with a teammate (never alone)
Schedule
- 4 x 10-hour shifts | 4 on / 3 off
- Shift options: 8a–6p | 2p–12a | 12a–10a
- Set shift groups: Wed–Sat or Sun–Wed (1 weekend day included)
- Shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends
Compensation
- $69,000 – $94,000
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.725/mile
- Pay increase upon hospital credentialing
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
- Licensed or license-eligible
- Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle
