Description:
Cocoa Pack is a family-owned, USDA Organic certified chocolate co-manufacturer based in Portland, Oregon. We're growing fast and looking for an experienced Food Safety Specialist to help us maintain and strengthen the standards our customers rely on.
In this role, you'll review, organize, and maintain our certifications including SQF, Organic, Kosher, and others. You'll participate in audits alongside our certifiers and conduct in-house mock audits to keep our programs audit-ready year-round. You'll play a key part in ensuring we stay compliant across the board. This is a great fit for someone who's detail-oriented, organized, and takes pride in upholding high standards in a food manufacturing environment.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working in food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of food safety requirements and certification standards (SQF, Organic, Kosher, etc.)
- Experience with audits and a proactive, audit-ready mindset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- A collaborative team player who fits well in a family-owned, tight-knit company
Schedule:
- Part-time, 3 days per week (8 hours per day)
