Busy Cardiology Office in Suffolk County looking for a Nuclear Technologist.
Position to be filled ASAP
Must be ARRT (N) , New York State Licensed. Flexible, must mostly Dependable.
No evenings, no weekends. 2-3 Days week & flexibility to cover vacations
Health Insurance available .
Biligual in Spanish necessary.
- Explain medical procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have.
- Follow safety procedures to protect the patients and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure.
- Order Daily medications as needed tor scheduled cases. Track inventory.
- Prepare and administer radioactive drugs to patients.
- Monitor and watch for any unusual reactions patients may have to drugs.
- Operate imaging equipment.
- Maintain detailed procedure records.
- Follow safety and disposal radiation procedures.
- Assist Physician with the accreditation submissions to keep office current with protocols and State Licensing.
Pay: $53.33 - $60.00 per hour
