Kilduff Underground Engineering (KUE) is looking for an enthusiastic Office Accounting Manager to join our busy Denver office. In this role, you will provide accounting, marketing, and administrative support to our team, including coordinating and implementing office procedures. Responsibilities
- Manage core accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, and bank reconciliations using software such as QuickBooks Online and other financial systems
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and accounting standards
- Perform account reconciliations and journal entries with precision, ensuring accuracy in double-entry bookkeeping and account analysis
- Work to support Project Managers and Project Engineers with project accounts.
- Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, including account analysis, account reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation
- Support marketing efforts by assisting in the creation of promotional materials and campaigns that align with organizational goals
- Marketing tasks, working with InDesign software to develop company Quals & marketing materials.
- Marketing company services and events on social media.
- Utilize spreadsheets extensively for data analysis, budgeting, and financial report writing to support strategic decision-making
- Proven experience in accounting roles with expertise in corporate accounting, non-profit accounting, or public accounting environments
- Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online) and other financial software platforms, Microsoft platform, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and InDesign
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with payroll processing systems and procedures as well as accounts
- Ability to perform bank reconciliation accurately using spreadsheets or specialized software tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks such as budgeting, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation efficiently
- Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration across teams
- Adept at working with spreadsheets for data analysis and maintaining detailed records of all transactions. Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
