Turret Punch Press Operator
Pay: $18.00-$25.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM (4-day, 10-hour shifts)
- Overtime available as needed:
- Friday: 4:00 PM-2:30 AM
- Saturday: 11:30 AM-5:30 PM
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Turret Punch Press Operator to set up and operate CNC turret punch equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for producing quality metal components while meeting production and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC turret punch equipment.
- Read and interpret work orders and customer specifications.
- Modify machine programs and tooling to meet production requirements.
- Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
- Inspect incoming materials and document any discrepancies.
- Deliver completed parts to the next production operation.
- Maintain equipment and order tooling as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily goals.
- Follow all safety procedures and assist in other production areas when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of turret/punch press machine or similar CNC fabrication experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Dependable with reliable transportation.
