Private Oral Surgery office in Park Ridge is looking for a compassionate and motivated Dental Assistant to join their growing team. As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting both the clinical team and patients throughout their treatment journey. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, assisting during dentoalveolar and implant surgeries, sterilizing instruments, taking dental impressions, and helping ensure the office operates efficiently each day. Schedule for the Dental Assistant:
- Monday - Friday: 8AM - 5PM
- Saturday: 8AM - 1PM (1-2x a month)
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:
- 1-2 years of dental assisting
- Oral surgery assisting experience preferred; experience with dental implants, IV sedation, and digital radiography is a plus.
- Assist doctors during dentoalveolar and implant procedures performed under IV sedation and general anesthesia.
- Take dental radiographs and impressions, provide pre- and post-operative instructions, and maintain instrument sterilization.
- Manage inventory and ordering of clinical supplies and equipment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
- Self-motivated, dependable, eager to learn, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
