Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Head Groomer to lead our grooming team in providing exceptional pet care and styling services. In this role, you will oversee all grooming operations, ensure the highest standards of pet coat styling and hygiene, and foster a welcoming environment for pet owners. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the grooming team, providing mentorship and training on pet grooming, coat styling, and animal handling techniques
- Perform professional pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning with precision and care
- Handle a variety of animals safely using proper restraint techniques while ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming procedures
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences, provide care advice, and address any concerns or special needs
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming area adhering to health and safety standards for animals and staff
- Manage heavy lifting of large or heavy pets during grooming or transport tasks as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dog handling, pet grooming, animal care, or veterinary settings such as veterinary technician or assistant roles
- Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners confidently and professionally
- Ability to perform pet coat styling, nail trimming, bathing, and other grooming services efficiently
- Physical ability to lift heavy pets safely and stand for extended periods during grooming sessions
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for animal welfare

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
