We are looking for reliable employees to provide direct care for the disabled members in our group homes. We are looking for team members to assist members in their daily life needs, including transporting members to appointments (via group home vehicles), medication administration, daily tasks such as cooking and assisting members with chores, and assisting in the daily routines of our clients.
The direct care worker's (DCW) primary responsibility is to assist the members by building relationships with them, directing interactions and facilitating recreational and social life skills activities. As it is needed, DCWs are also responsible for behavior management of the members, however the foundation of the DCW's role is a willingness to build a positive relationship with group home members to help improve their quality of life.
As-needed (PRN) staff are notified of and agree to claim shifts through the company's group chat app. When a shift opens, managers overseeing our homes notify the chat of the day, time and location of the available shift. PRN staff are expected to claim a minimum of 1-2 shifts per month in order to keep their PRN positions. All available shifts are filled on a first come, first served basis, therefore group chat notifications should be kept on at all times.

- A willingness to adapt your behavior to the behavioral needs of clients as needed
- A willingness to plan activities and spend quality time with members
- A willingness to perform basic direct care with members including but not limited to: Cleaning the home, chores as assigned, taking members on outings via company vehicles, feeding, changing, bathing, toileting and other hygiene needs of the members as needed
- A willingness and ability to respond to critical behavioral needs of group home members as needed (including emergency physical interventions as necessary)
Requirements for hiring are:
- A valid driver's license
- A valid Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1, non-IVP)
- A negative blood TB test result from within 1 year of hire
- Current, valid certifications for: Article 9, Prevention & Support, CPR/First Aid
