Job Summary:
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced airport fuel station environment while supporting daily retail and fueling operations. This position plays an important role in supporting travelers, local customers, and aviation operations throughout Alaska. Responsibilities include operating point-of-sale systems, assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility.
Compensation: Starting at $18.00 p/hr+DOE

Essential Functions:

Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process cash and credit card transactions, activate fuel dispensers, and provide receipts to customers.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service while assisting customers with fuel purchases, merchandise, and general inquiries.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and prepare daily sales and reconciliation reports.
- Monitor fueling areas and facility conditions to identify and report safety hazards, spills, equipment issues, or suspicious activity.
- Receive, stock, price, and display merchandise and assist with inventory control activities.
- Sell prepared food, beverages, groceries, and related retail items while preparing and maintaining complimentary beverage stations.
- Perform janitorial and general cleanup duties, including cleaning fuel dispenser keypads and exteriors, parking areas, offices, restroom sanitation, fueling areas, trash removal, and maintaining facility and equipment cleanliness.
- Perform facility and grounds maintenance duties, including snow and ice removal, debris cleanup, landscaping, and light maintenance tasks.
- Follow all Company procedures, operational guidelines, safety policies, and opening/closing security procedures.

Qualifications:
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods of time, including on hard surfaces, ladders, and work platforms.
- Ability to reach horizontally and vertically with arms.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects that may frequently exceed 30 pounds during work-related tasks.

Manual dexterity sufficient to operate business-related equipment, manipulate small objects, and write or print legibly.
- Visual acuity (near, far, and depth perception) and auditory ability sufficient to perform job duties safely and effectively.
- Ability to communicate, understand, and retain information provided orally and written.
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
