Pro Production Services is looking for an experienced, dependable Audio Engineer / AV Technician to join our team. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in all aspects of live production, enjoys solving problems under pressure, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and strike professional audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment
- Mix live audio for corporate events, concerts, meetings, and special events
- Assist with video, lighting, LED walls, projection, and power distribution as needed
- Load and unload production trucks safely and efficiently
- Maintain organization of warehouse inventory and equipment
- Clean, test, repair, and prepare equipment for upcoming events
- Assist with gear recovery after events
- Properly wrap, label, and store cables and equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues on-site under tight timelines
- Follow signal flow and equipment documentation
- Communicate effectively with clients and crew members
- Represent the company professionally on job sites
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in live event production
- Experience operating professional audio consoles (Yamaha, Allen & Heath, DiGiCo, Midas, Avid, etc.)
- Knowledge of microphones, RF coordination, speakers, amplifiers, and signal flow
- Experience with video and lighting systems is strongly preferred
- Ability to read basic stage plots and riders
- Comfortable learning new equipment and software quickly
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8–16+ hours)
- Comfortable working long shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to climb ladders and work at height when necessary
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
