Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our hotel. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing preventative maintenance. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement initiatives and support our commitment to operational excellence.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical systems using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components utilizing electrical blueprints, schematics, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct equipment repairs including welding ( welding if applicable), electrical diagnostics, and mechanical adjustments to ensure minimal production disruptions.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Operate industrial machinery such as scissor lifts safely while adhering to safety protocols; perform troubleshooting on programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams when necessary to provide technical support or assist with equipment upgrades or installations.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards related to electrical maintenance, HVAC/R systems, welding, and industrial mechanics; participate in safety audits and training sessions.
- Support continuous improvement projects by analyzing system performance data and recommending enhancements for reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong background in industrial maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, welding ( welding if applicable), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and precision measuring instruments.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management; ability to document work accurately.
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent problem-solving capabilities for equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Industrial electrician experience is highly desirable along with knowledge of electrical diagnostics using ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Ability to read technical schematics and perform electrical blueprint reading confidently.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external vendors; proactive approach to safety compliance.
- Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.
