Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across extensive routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks when necessary.
- Transport a variety of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and other freight types efficiently and securely.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning optimal routes for timely deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmissions preferred.
- Proven truck driving experience in a commercial setting, especially in long-haul or OTR roles.
- Familiarity with different trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment when required.
- Strong knowledge of route planning and delivery procedures for efficient transportation.

Pay: $1,700.00 - $2,500.00 per week
