Salary: $95K - $115K; based on experience
A beautiful privately owned human resources and staffing company, focused on simplifying HR for businesses, particularly in the healthcare sector located near Elmont, NY is looking for a Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll processes and related tasks.
- Answer payroll questions from staff.
- Train and provide coverage for payroll staff as needed.
- Enter new employees, status changes, and terminations in the payroll system.
- Review timecards and ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Handle other payroll-related tasks, including tax-related responsibilities.
Qualifications of the Payroll Manager:
- MUST have nursing home payroll management experience
- Strong working knowledge of payroll processes.
- Experience with employee onboarding, status changes, and terminations.
- Familiarity with reviewing timecards and payroll procedures.
- Knowledge of payroll taxes and compliance.
