We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their skills in visual design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to turn customer concepts into wearable art.
Graphic Designers will be responsible for designing for screen printing, embroidery, decals, banners, yard signs, vehicle wraps and more while communicating with our sales team to get jobs sent into production via cloud storage. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.
This job is an onsite position only. If you are not able to commute to work daily or plan to relocate to Amarillo, Texas; do not apply for this position as you will not be considered.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must consistently have a positive attitude toward providing excellent service for customers and with co-workers.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality designs.
- Ability to meet established deadlines, product and art standards, and most importantly paying attention to small details.
- Ability to work under potentially stressful conditions in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in digital, written, oral, or diagram form.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Thorough understanding of Adobe products; primarily Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years related experience and/or training; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- During peak seasons, the work load can increase to 20+ tasks daily. Ability to pay attention to detail at a fast pace is a must.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to focus.
- Mainly a desk job, walking around the shop to communicate with team when necessary. Overtime/long hours can be common and will require a specific set of focus.
