1st Shift Bilingual Warehouse Associate / Sit-Down Forklift Operator | Direct Hire
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE)

Position Summary
Seeking a dependable, bilingual (English/Spanish) Warehouse Associate with recent sit-down forklift experience to join a fast-paced distribution facility. Responsible for efficient material handling, loading/unloading, inventory management, and clear communication across operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, stage, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Perform order picking, staging, packing, and palletizing according to shipping manifests.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and inspect loads for damage.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to coordinate workflow and daily assignments.
- Maintain organized inventory storage and conduct routine cycle counts.
- Enforce warehouse safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) required to speak and understand operational instructions.
- 1–2+ years of recent sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse setting.
- Active forklift certification or ability to pass internal operator evaluation.
- Proven experience in general shipping, receiving, and order processing.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout shift.
