MRI Technologist
Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Pay Rate: $63.00/hr $66.00/hr
Contract: 12 Weeks
Schedule: 2 x 12-hour shifts and 2 x 8-hour shifts, including weekend and call rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Experience: MRI Technologist experience required
EMR: EPIC
About the Role
We are seeking an MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity in Janesville, WI. This role involves performing MRI procedures, preparing patients, ensuring MRI safety, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and supporting patient care in a hospital and trauma center setting.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI procedures for diagnostic interpretation
Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
Provide patient instructions and help reduce anxiety during procedures
Apply MRI safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self
Operate MRI systems, coils, gating devices, and related equipment
Start and maintain venous access as needed
Prepare and administer contrast media as required
Verify screening and consent forms
Evaluate image quality and submit images for physician review
Use EPIC, PACS, and radiology information systems accurately
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited radiography program required
ARRT Radiography registration required
ARRT MRI registration required
Approved BLS certification required
MRI Technologist experience required
Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and call rotation
Holiday coverage required
Strong patient care, documentation, and imaging quality skills required
