Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Occupational Therapist to join our unique nature-based practice. In this role, you will provide expert occupational therapy services to pediatric clientele. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate clients in all areas related to occupational therapy.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and patient goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, physical therapists, physicians, and educators—to ensure holistic patient care
- Manage medical documentation accurately using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Support discharge planning
Skills
- Familiarity with pediatrics preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards
- Skilled in conducting occupational therapy assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and their families while fostering interprofessional collaboration for optimal outcomes
