Urgent Care Veterinarian
A veterinary clinic is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative medical team. This role focuses on providing care for non-life-threatening conditions that require prompt attention, offering an alternative to emergency clinics while supporting overall patient well-being. - Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent care cases in companion animals
- Manage common conditions such as minor injuries, infections, gastrointestinal issues, and other non-emergency concerns
- Perform necessary procedures and provide appropriate treatment plans
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses, care plans, and follow-up recommendations
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent)
Active veterinary license (or eligibility) in North Carolina
