The Body Shop Clerk provides administrative and customer service support for the Collision and Paint Center. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth office operations, supporting production activities, and delivering exceptional service to customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Answer incoming phone calls, route calls appropriately, and take accurate messages
- Generate and maintain repair orders in the CDK system
- Prepare repair orders for closing and management approval
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational and production reports
- Reconcile sublet schedules and related documentation on a monthly basis
- Generate and issue purchase orders to vendors and suppliers
- Participate in daily production meetings to support workflow coordination
- Provide administrative and office support for collision and paint center production activities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to customers, vendors, and internal staff
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Body Shop Manager

High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in an automotive or heavy-duty commercial truck body shop, collision center, or service department preferred
- Experience working with CDK Dealer Management System (DMS) or similar systems preferred
- Strong customer service, phone, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to generate reports, process repair orders, and handle purchase orders accurately
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments
