Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Foreman to join our dynamic construction management team. In this vital role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial construction projects. Your expertise will ensure that HVAC systems meet all safety standards, technical specifications, and project requirements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead teams, coordinate complex schedules, and contribute to high-quality building environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise HVAC installation teams on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety regulations.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to interpret HVAC system requirements accurately.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to develop detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or HeavyBid software.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project budgets and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor quality control, safety compliance (including OSHA standards), and progress of HVAC work.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and schematics; utilize tools like Ohmmeter for system testing and troubleshooting.
- Lead construction schedule coordination efforts, manage contracts, and oversee subcontractor performance in line with project goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on HVAC systems; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Construction scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards; experience with construction site safety protocols is essential.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; proficiency in interpreting complex technical documents is required.
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating, budgeting, quality control processes, and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in using testing tools such as Ohmmeter for system diagnostics; understanding of construction site safety regulations related to HVAC work.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
