We are looking for an ADVANCED piano instructor!
House of Music offers one on one private lessons, as well as many other programs. Typically, students stay with the same instructor and time each week. Our other programs include: Rock band, A Capella, Musical Theater, Audio Production Lessons, Venue Events, and Summer Camps! We also host community concerts, birthday parties, business meetings, and more by renting out our indoor venue.
Our recording studio is available to book recordings (for any level musician), rehearsal space for bands, and it is integrated into our rock band curriculum for rock bands to make progress reports as well as have an audio lesson after each showcase every 4 months.
If you are interested in joining our team, you must be able to showcase the following skills:
- Have a knowledgeable background in music theory
- Understand and teach basic fundamental warmups and critical technique of the instrument
- Have a solid repertoire of books, classical songs, as well as popular songs to teach from
- Showcase leadership skills based on having goal-oriented lessons that push our curriculum, our performance events, and venue opportunities
- Have a positive attitude that will add to our familial environment at the store!
Promotion of store merchandise/concerts/events/performance opportunities is very important, so outgoing communication skills are a MUST.
