RMMI, LLC is a growing excavation, utility, and site construction contractor seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team.
We have immediate openings for qualified operators on commercial and prevailing wage projects throughout New York’s Capital Region.

What You’ll Do
- Operate excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, haul trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, utility installation, and site preparation
- Read and interpret plans, grades, and stakes
- Work with field supervisors to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain clean, organized equipment and job sites
- Follow OSHA, company safety policies, and prevailing wage project requirements
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience operating excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, and haul trucks
- Ability to read plans and work to grade
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
- Commitment to safe work practices
Preferred
- Experience on commercial site work or underground utility projects
- GPS/3D machine control experience (Topcon, Trimble, Leica, etc.)
- Experience with pipe installation and fine grading
- CDL is not required, but applicants must be eligible to obtain one in the future.
