Job Description:
Drivers work 5-6 days a week (Primarily M-F). Could start at domicile between 0300 - 0700 and will run 10-12 hours day. Must be available to work at least 1 day on the weekend. 50/50 Drop and Hook of containers and live load/unload of containers. Will basically be hooking and unhooking containers/chassis through the entire day.
Inspecting containers/ chassis.
- Driving day and night driving depending on dispatch time
- Open 7 days a week 365 including holidays based on work volume
- Must be available to work at least 1 day on the weekend
- Dedicated facilities/ routes daily
- No pets and/or passengers and No smoking
Earnings from $70,000- $76,000 a year.
Overtime $30 for anything over 40 hours/week
Job Requirements:
Requires 6 months
of either container or tanker experience in the last 3 years, an acceptable MVR and background reports. Physical Labor - There is a lot of physical activity with these positions – will connect to anywhere between 10 and 12 containers per day. TWIC is required. If do not have will require TWIC within a week. We will reimburse for TWIC cards right away. Must reside within 30 miles of Freeport, TX.
Wage Range: 1350.00 - 1450.00 per week
