Sunny's Window Works is a growing premium residential window and exterior cleaning company serving homeowners throughout North Houston, North Harris County, and Montgomery County.
We are looking for an experienced, dependable service professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with customers, and can be trusted to work independently.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have prior professional experience in window cleaning, pressure washing, exterior cleaning, or a closely related field.
What You'll Do
- Clean interior and exterior residential windows
- Remove, clean, and reinstall window screens
- Detail glass, frames, sills, and tracks
- Perform ladder work safely and confidently
- Operate professional window cleaning equipment
- Assist with pressure washing, soft washing, and exterior cleaning projects
- Conduct pre- and post-service walkthroughs with homeowners
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Represent the Sunny's brand with integrity and professionalism
Most projects are performed in owner-occupied homes in higher-end neighborhoods. You will frequently work independently and may be trusted to enter customer homes while performing services. Because technicians work around valuable property and inside customer homes, professionalism, trustworthiness, and attention to detail are essential.
Requirements
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of professional window cleaning and/or pressure washing experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable working outdoors in Texas heat
- Physically capable of handling ladders and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Transportation & Equipment
- Must have reliable transportation capable of transporting ladders and equipment to and from job sites
- Contractors will use their own vehicle for travel to customer appointments
- Sunny's Window Works provides the professional equipment, tools, and branded apparel necessary to perform services
- Contractors are responsible for maintaining a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and dependable transportation
Reliability Expectations
Our customers schedule their day around our appointments, so reliability is essential. We are looking for someone who:
- Arrives early and prepared
- Communicates proactively
- Follows through on commitments
- Takes ownership when challenges arise
- Can be counted on to show up when scheduled
If punctuality, attendance, or communication have been recurring challenges in previous roles, this position is likely not a good fit.
Schedule & Work Availability
This is a contractor position with workload based on customer demand and seasonal business volume. Most technicians begin with 2–3 days of scheduled work per week. As customer demand grows and reliability is demonstrated, opportunities may expand to additional days and a more consistent schedule.
Work availability can vary week to week. Reliable, high-performing technicians are generally offered first access to available jobs and expanded opportunities as the company grows.
Weekend availability is a plus.
Compensation — Independent Contractor (1099)
- Performance-based compensation
- 20%–30% of completed job revenue based on experience, skill level, and ability to work independently
- Paid weekly. Other arrangements possible.
