A large local dealership is expanding and seeking full-time Sales Consultants
for their family-owned dealership! Sales Consultants are responsible and
accountable for producing committed scheduled appointments between
customers and showcasing our products to customers. Our goal is to
achieve departmental gross profit and performance standards through a
dedicated and specialized sales process.

Education/Experience/Skills:
High School degree or GED equivalent plus 1 year within a sales or customer
service role preferred. Must possess strong organizational skills, excellent
customer relations skills, and team-building skills. Must possess a strong
ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
Language Ability:
Ability to effectively and clearly write communications such as email
messages, memos, and letters.
Math & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply mathematical concepts ordinarily included in budgetary
spreadsheets. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and
draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate
computer experience, CRM systems (customer database), and the ability to
learn new software programs as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Does not manage individuals.

Valid state driver’s license.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Consultant is accountable for performing the duties and
responsibilities described below. The list, however, is not necessarily an
exhaustive description of the duties and responsibilities associated with the
position. The Sales Consultant also performs other duties and
responsibilities as needed.
Maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
and client databases
Keeping abreast of current incentives, specials, promotions, and
product knowledge daily
Verifying that all inbound calls for the department have been input
into the CRM system
Meeting all dealership CRM/ILM certification requirements
Adhering to the National and State Do-Not-Call and Do-Not-Email
policies and procedures
Complete daily work plan including the following: inbound sales calls,
internet leads, lease renewals, unsold showroom traffic follow-up
calls, etc.
Properly meet and greet the customer, complete demonstration
rides,
Meet department productivity standards: 10 sales per month
Utilize dealership scripts and templates to communicate with
customers
Proactively prospect for new clients through social media and
establish their own book of business
Professionally meet and greet our clients and complete a needs
analysis to see what vehicles we have that meet their needs.
Follow up with clients through our CRM system.
WORK SCHEDULE
The work schedule will be determined based on the flow of traffic by the
stores and the coverage that is needed. The work schedule may change
from time to time as traffic patterns change seasonally. Some evenings are
required. Weekend shifts are required. Lunches as required by the
dealership handbook.
