Bi-lingual Training and Human Resources Manager – Job Summary
Come and work for a leading edge national brand in the service industry! This position is a full-time, hourly non-exempt position and it is required this candidate lives in the Chippewa Valley or a surrounding area, remote work is not allowed for this position. Travel is required to several restaurants in the Chippewa Valley and surrounding area and working hours may vary. This is a key restaurant support position and requires the ability to work with a variety of Supervisors and Restaurant Managers.
Bi-lingual Training and HR Manager Essential Functions and Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills proficient in both English and Spanish languages.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Self motivated individual who goes the extra mile to accomplish goals.
- Strong people skills and customer service skills.
- The ability to work well in a team environment, share ideas and problem-solve.
Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working in a variety of our restaurants training newly hired employees and cross training existing staff. Consistent in-store involvement.
- Assist restaurant managers with translating and verbally explain company policies and training procedures in both English and Spanish.
- Assist employees who have little-to-no understanding of English language. Translating dialogue and convey the intent of the original speaker, understanding that some slang terms do not translate exactly between languages.
- Translating written documents such as: Training materials, employee notices, policies, and other miscellaneous documents as needed.
- Establish strong relationships within the communities we serve.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, interviewing candidates, and hiring of staff
- Positive use of public relations through contact with community organizations, civic groups, school districts and community leaders.
- Perform a variety Human Resources functions including conducting new employee orientations, onboarding, and assisting with employee relations.
- Helping to translate spoken words into written messages and documents.
- Ability to clearly relay ideas across cultures.
