Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, flair, and attention to detail, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to provide exceptional customer service and enhance their overall experience.
- Manage bar inventory, including restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to keep our menu fresh and exciting.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced hospitality environment, preferably within fine dining or upscale venues.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and cocktail presentation.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Spot On POS or Toast POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service.
- Previous food service experience including food handling, serving, catering, or banquet work is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math proficiency for inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper beverage recipe development practices.
