Job Description:
Ali Baba Grill, a family-owned Middle Eastern restaurant known for authentic flavors and exceptional service, is seeking a friendly and experienced server to join our team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing a memorable dining experience to our valued guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Provide detailed knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Take accurate food and drink orders and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs and ensure satisfaction
- Assist with side work, including setting tables, refilling condiments, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Process payments and manage checks accurately
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus but not required
- Weekend availability is required: Friday to Sunday, 11 AM – 9 PM
Compensation:
- Hourly pay at minimum wage plus tips
- Servers typically earn competitive tips, resulting in strong daily earnings
