Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage to meet individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand symptoms, medical history, and specific areas of concern.
- Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate appropriate massage modalities and techniques for optimal results.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to support ongoing wellness.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients about their comfort levels, treatment expectations, and health concerns to foster trust and satisfaction.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent client communication skills.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments.
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately through consultation and physical evaluation.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- CPR certification and knowledge of pain management strategies are highly desirable.
- Experience working in med spas or healthcare settings is a plus; familiarity with medical terminology enhances effectiveness.

Pay: $38.00 - $52.00 per hour
