Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Paint Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their paint and related product needs. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting paint products and provide product demonstrations to enhance their understanding of features and benefits.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays, ensuring products are stocked and easily accessible.
- Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding paint types, colors, and application techniques.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with customers professionally, both in-person and over the phone.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales and paint department preferred.
- Familiarity with paint products and application methods is a plus.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with a diverse customer base.
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and retail math will be beneficial.
