Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL A Licensed Driver to join our dynamic transportation family! In this vital role, you will operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds and refrigerated trailers. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, conestoga and refrigerated trailers across designated routes.
- 90% No touch and 10% unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning optimal delivery paths to maximize efficiency.
- Deliver freight accurately to various locations while adhering to delivery schedules and safety protocols.
- Handle special cargo such as refrigerated goods or flatbed loads with care and precision.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and inspection reports for compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating manual transmission trucks.
- Proven track record in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight loads.
- Familiarity with different truck types such as flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, dry van trailers and conestoga trailers.
- Ability to unload cargo efficiently using provided equipment when required.
- Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices for timely deliveries.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling. Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
