A Kitchen Expo coordinates communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure food orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
Responsibilities
- Review and organize incoming food tickets
- Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and properly plated
- Communicate clearly with cooks and servers
- Monitor ticket times and prioritize urgent orders
- Garnish and prepare plates for service when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the expo line
- Assist in resolving order issues quickly
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
