Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing treatment to patients, helping them regain movement and manage pain.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to implement treatment plans
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the therapy area
Skills:
- Experience in hospital medicine or clinic settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and trigger point therapy
- Ability to provide exceptional patient care
- Familiarity with outpatient care and orthopedics
