Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. (Giles) is a leading provider of Geotechnical, Construction Materials Testing, and Environmental services. Giles is looking to expand our Geotechnical engineering department and actively seeking a Geotechnical Engineer and Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our Orange, California team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Writing and Review of Proposals
- Coordination and communication with the field and laboratory personnel throughout report completion.
- Oversee field and laboratory services and analyze data and findings
- Client communication throughout the duration of the project, including time and expense management.
- Writing and review of technical reports, specifications, and construction plans
- Development of appropriate foundation and site-related Geotechnical recommendations
- Mentoring and oversight with field and laboratory personnel
- Involvement and participation in the business development process during proposal preparation through project completion, and beyond.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical emphasis
- 5+ years of experience as a Geotech Engineer P.E.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
