Are you a caring, flexible, and motivated individual who loves working with children of all ages? Little Wildflowers is looking for a Float Teacher to join our dedicated team of early childhood professionals!
About the Role:
As a Float Teacher, you'll play a key support role in our center, helping to ensure the daily flow of our classrooms and operations run smoothly. You'll be working with children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old, offering assistance wherever it's needed—from giving teachers breaks, to helping in classrooms, to keeping our environment clean and welcoming for all.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities
- Provide support in all classrooms and with all age groups as needed
- Step into classrooms to assist or lead when staff are out or on break
- Wash dishes, do laundry, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
- Follow daily cleaning and sanitation protocols
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Be open to training in each classroom’s routines, expectations, and curriculum
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and leadership
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children of all ages
- Flexible and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility
- Willingness to be trained in multiple classroom settings
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing needs
- Must be a team player who supports others and contributes to a positive work culture
- Previous experience in childcare is a plus but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!

Requirements:

· CPR & First Aide certification
· Health & Safety Basics Course
· Mandated Reporters Course
· Continued education hours each year
