Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Maintenance Apprentice on the first shift! Responsibilities
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Support routine maintenance tasks such as lubrication, calibration, and inspections of manufacturing equipment
- Use precision measuring instruments and electrical diagnostic tools like ammeters and ohmmeters to identify issues
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas during maintenance activities
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately
- Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, and low/high voltage systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on the equipment
Requirements
- Prior experience or exposure in a manufacturing facility environment is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of industrial mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals with attention to detail
- Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers
- Valid certification or experience in welding (including welding), HVAC/R systems or industrial electrician work is advantageous
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
- Good communication skills in English for effective teamwork and safety procedures
- Ability to operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely when needed
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with a focus on maintenance or repair tasks in an industrial setting

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
