Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery from food preparation to customer satisfaction
- Supervise and motivate staff members, including training new team members and conducting ongoing staff development
- Oversee food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and proper food handling procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, waste reduction, and ensuring the availability of ingredients and supplies
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Support shift management by coordinating schedules, supervising service flow, and resolving customer concerns promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production, presentation, and timely delivery
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for increased revenue and cost savings
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service that enhances guest loyalty and satisfaction
- Participate in hiring processes through interviewing candidates and selecting qualified personnel for various roles within the restaurant
Experience
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a track record of supervising teams effectively
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management across casual dining or fine dining settings
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a hospitality environment
- Strong leadership skills with previous roles involving staff training, team management, and shift supervision
- Knowledge of catering operations or banquet service is a plus; hotel or hospitality management experience is highly valued
- Familiarity with managing food industry standards including culinary practices, food production, catering services, and bar operations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates effectively and foster a positive team environment
- Experience in managing food safety standards, health regulations, and implementing training & development initiatives
