We are seeking a Direct Service Professional to work with a 23 year old male with Autism. This participant enjoys an array of activities including:
-Cura Personalis Project at the Wheaton Stables,
-VisArts
-swim lessons and free swim,
- hiking and walking in our local parks
-fitness at Spirit Club
-listening to music on his IPOD
This position will involve accompanying and assisting Eli with his preferred activities, as well as day-to-day activities within the home including meal assistance, personal hygiene prompts, and communication practice.
The ideal candidate:
Will be CPR/First Aid certified(or willing to obtain)
Have the ability to pass a background check
Have their own car and be willing to transport the participant(mileage reimbursement included)
Have experience working with those that use ABA therapy, as well as experience in documenting behaviors.
Pay is based on experience. This position is a PART-TIME position with hours on Mondays and Tuesdays, and preferred weekend coverage as well.
